The Youth Forum

We are a group of young people aged 13-19 who meet regularly to help to improve Connexions, learn new things and have fun!

These are the some of the things we do:

Act as a link between Connexions and other youth groups / forums from different backgrounds across the Black Country. We ask their views and make sure that Connexions Black Country hears what young people think.
Take part in Connexions Black Country management board meetings to make sure that Connexions acts on the feedback and opinions of young people
Work on the Connexions Black Country Youth Charter
Train up to visit Connexions partnerships in other areas, find examples of good work, and share them with other organisations

What we get out of it:

Youth Forum Update

The Youth Forum has recently been undergoing their induction and have now almost completed it. A networking opportunity with another Connexions partnership has been planned for the beginning of 2008 as well as the Christmas celebration event at the end of 2007.
