Connexions Bus

The Connexions Bus is a mobile centre involved in many local community activities and events that target and engage young people. The bus project is run and funded by Connexions Black Country and works with schools, colleges, training providers, youth organisations and voluntary / community organisations to reach young people.

If you are an organisation working with young people aged 13-19, or up to 25 with learning difficulties or disabilities, the Connexions Bus could be for you. We are especially looking to engage young people ‘not in education, employment or training’ in hard to reach areas.

The bus is free to use, subject to availability and conditions of booking, and its flexibility makes it ideal for short term or long term projects in the community.

On board we have:

  • Five computer work-stations with satellite Internet connection
  • Professional DJ equipment
  • CD/DVD and video
  • Chill-out area
  • Private consultation facilities
  • Covered stage area
  • Air conditioning

Please, let us know about ideas you have for using the Connexions Bus! To discuss your ideas please contact Bus Project Co-ordinator Steve Clarke on 07834 499400

For more details on the bus, or to enquire about making a booking, e-mail Charlotte Maxfield or phone 0121 502 7431

Note that there is no cost involved in hiring the bus, but you'll be asked to provide staff for your event. The bus is available outside of office hours.
