Job Title: Learning and Development Co-ordinator
Areas of work/responsibility
- NVQ Assessment Centre Co-ordinator.
- NVQ Assessor and Tutor.
- Design and delivery of training programmes for Connexions staff and partners.
- Partnership Training Co-ordinator.
- Attendance of local and sub-regional groups in support of training developments within the Connexions Service and emerging Children's Trust agenda.
Functions and activities undertaken
- Co-ordination of the NVQ Centre and its key functions including: staff induction, workshops, meetings, production of resource materials, quality assurance and standardisation activities, support for NVQ candidates and assessors.
- Design and delivery of training programmes to support Professional Practice; including Key Steps, Key Steps Observation, Group Work, One-to-One skills, Supervision, Rickter training.
- Coach and support delivery staff.
- Contribute to the on-going monitoring, evaluation and review of the Learning and Development Policy and procedures.
- Organise, co-ordinate, implement and evaluate the Partnership Training Programme.
Background and previous experience
- Over 10 year's experience working with Training Providers, including Regional Training Co-ordinator for Rathbone Training.
- Black Country Connexions Personal Adviser.
- Black Country Connexions Team Leader.
- Qualified Connexions Personal Adviser (Dip PA).
- Qualified NVQ Assessor.
- NVQ 4 Advice and Guidance Qualified.
