Rape & Sexual Assault

Rape, and sexual assault, are very serious crimes. Both men and women can be victims.

If you have been the victim of rape or sexual assault, you can speak in confidence to your Personal Adviser, who can support you in getting the help you need to deal with it.

The organisations listed here can give you support and counselling. They can also give you information if you have a friend who has been the victim of rape or sexual assault.

A counselling and support service for children and young people under 21 years who have been sexually abused. Counselling is also available to parents, carers and siblings.

Crisis Point (Walsall)

A sexual assault referral service, providing support work and advocacy for vistims of rape, sexual assault / abuse. They also provide a chaperone service to and from court and counselling, psychotherapy and ongoing support after the court case has ended. Office hours 8.30am - 5.30pm. Counselling 9.00am - 4.00pm. 24 hour support worker available.
